NERVES / FASCIA / BALANCE

Feet First. Follow the signal.

Is it the heel, the tendon or the nerve? The interesting question is not which one wins. It is what your symptoms are telling you.

A burning foot tells a different story

Burning, tingling, reduced sensation and altered balance can be associated with neuropathy. Nerve problems and plantar-fascia pain are different diagnoses. An examination can help clarify sensation, strength, circulation and foot protection.

What can acoustic waves actually establish?

Selected chronic plantar-fasciitis heel pain has device-specific US evidence and approval. Peripheral-nerve applications remain a developing research area. Regrowth of nerves, restored sensation and reversal of neuropathy are not established promises of the treatment described here.

Protect the step you cannot fully feel

Reduced sensation can hide a blister or injury. Prompt attention to skin changes, wounds and new weakness matters, especially with diabetes. Bring nerve-related concerns to medical care rather than testing them by walking further.
