Start with listening
A young person's concern about their body deserves age-appropriate medical attention rather than teasing, assumptions or an adult treatment pitch. Let them explain in their own words and arrange a suitable medical appointment.
Screens, routines and real evidence
Discuss long sessions of sitting, hand and neck discomfort, sleep and time for movement. These are different from claims that devices cause reproductive injury. This website does not claim that gaming or ordinary wireless exposure causes erectile dysfunction in teenagers.
Keep youth care and adult treatment separate
Our youth page teaches healthy questions and evidence literacy. Adult ESWT applications are not promoted as treatment for children. For a private concern, ask an appropriate paediatric or adolescent-health service about confidentiality and guardian involvement.
Get help promptly
A sudden injury, severe pain, numbness, weakness or a young person in emotional crisis deserves prompt professional support. In an emergency call 911.
