MOTION INTELLIGENCE
The ball stays the same. The forces change.
A ball does not gain mass as it flies. A brilliant catch is a negotiation with momentum.

Mass, speed and the catch
Momentum equals mass times velocity. For the same change in momentum, extending the stopping time lowers the average force. The load at an individual joint is more complex: posture, leverage, contact, muscle action and timing all matter.
A swing is a rotation problem
Torque depends on force and perpendicular moment arm. Club or racquet mass, where that mass sits, swing acceleration and technique change the demand. A heavier feeling is not proof the object gained weight.
The landing continues the play
During landing, contact time and movement at several joints influence how momentum is managed. Pain, fatigue, attention and prior injury can change a strategy. Neither a browser animation nor a single formula predicts an individual's injury risk.
What ESWT can and cannot establish
Evidence of symptom or function improvement in a particular diagnosis is different from proof of faster reflexes, greater throwing speed or improved agility. Rehabilitation, practice and sport-specific progression remain separate parts of a return-to-activity plan.
