Baseball & softball
A family game with a little more science.
A glove at the ready. A throw your grandchild wants to copy. Keep the joy and understand the demand.
MOVEMENT STUDY / ILLUSTRATIVE
The object keeps its mass. Its momentum changes.
Distance changes apparent size. Speed changes momentum. The way an object or body slows down changes the force over time. This visual study is neither a treatment nor a personal injury-risk calculation.
Momentum: mass × velocity. Average force: change in momentum ÷ stopping time. Joint loads involve additional geometry and biology.

The arm is part of a chain
Leg drive and torso rotation connect with shoulder, elbow and wrist motion. Throwing load depends on speed, technique and workload, not simply the size of the ball.
Listen to the elbow and shoulder
Persistent symptoms and sudden injury are different. A painful throwing arm deserves assessment, especially in a young athlete. A desire for more speed should never replace attention to symptoms.

Ask PrimeWave about diagnosis-specific evidence and a wider plan for comfortable participation. Increasing pitch speed or arm strength has not been established by the studies featured here.
