MOVEMENT STUDY / ILLUSTRATIVE
The object keeps its mass. Its momentum changes.
Distance changes apparent size. Speed changes momentum. The way an object or body slows down changes the force over time. This visual study is neither a treatment nor a personal injury-risk calculation.
Momentum: mass × velocity. Average force: change in momentum ÷ stopping time. Joint loads involve additional geometry and biology.

A small grip can carry a large demand
Grip type, reach, body position and foot support influence hand and shoulder loading. A tiny hold does not imply a tiny force.
A finger injury deserves its own name
A sudden finger pop, weakness or swelling may involve structures beyond a simple muscle ache. Falls can introduce fractures or head injury. Get the injury assessed rather than assuming a tendon-treatment pathway.
Know where the evidence stops
ESWT findings for selected tendons cannot prove that a finger pulley or torn ligament will heal. Ask PrimeWave about diagnosis, referral where appropriate and the evidence for any proposed treatment.
