MOVEMENT STUDY / ILLUSTRATIVE
The object keeps its mass. Its momentum changes.
Distance changes apparent size. Speed changes momentum. The way an object or body slows down changes the force over time. This visual study is neither a treatment nor a personal injury-risk calculation.
Momentum: mass × velocity. Average force: change in momentum ÷ stopping time. Joint loads involve additional geometry and biology.

Hands, seat and feet transfer forces between rider and bicycle. Position and load can change symptoms. Numbness is a reason to assess pressure and nerve-related possibilities rather than assume ordinary soreness.
After a fall
A fall onto the hand can injure the wrist. Pain, deformity or reduced function calls for assessment, with particular attention to fracture or other acute injury.
Choose the right question for ESWT
Ask PrimeWave whether a diagnosed chronic tendon complaint has relevant evidence, and how bike fit, rehabilitation and other options compare. Acute trauma and nerve compression are not automatically ESWT indications.
